The letter below was put under the door of The Awnings shop next to Best Wishes last week. As you can see, they (or their head office) have ignored numerous requests from us over a very long period of time,to settle the debt. Thus, the letter has gone to head office (in Spanish of course), as The CRA has now taken the view that because of our status as a non-profit-making charity, we will name and shame (not to mention chase) advertisers who consistently fail to honour their debts.
As an aside, a large white van arrived outside the shop, ON MONDAY ( BANK HOLIDAY) 9th June and stripped out all fixtures and fittings. Draw your own conclusions.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing on behalf of The Camposol Residents Association to ask you for payment for advertisements which your company has had in The New Camposol Courier; The C.R.A. is A CHARITY and the Courier is owned by the Association and run entirely voluntary.
I have enclosed a factura listing your DEBT in total; as you will see, the total amount is €224.00. This covers August, September, October and November 2007.
Three different volunteers have been into the shop with facturas (including The Editor), Mr Rod Sawyer, and we have been completely ignored.

I DEMAND THAT YOU SETTLE THIS DEBT IMMEDIATELY.

Failure to do so will result in three actions against you.
Firstly; we will publish your behaviour in the July Edition of The Courier.
Secondly; a private security firm will be sent to collect the DEBT on behalf of The C.R.A.
Lastly; if you still won’t pay, the matter will be handed to our lawyer Snr Joaquin Ataz Ruiz, of Garrigues International Lawyers.

For those people who have issues with Abril 28, regarding POOLS ONLY, the reponsibility (the CRA has been told by Daniel Bascanuna, Masa boss on 4th June) for dealing with you is called Joaquin, sorry, no surname, and can be contacted at the Alicante Office.
